At Sharpe Sessions, we help students overcome their fear of math by changing the way they think about and approach math. We believe all students have the potential to excel at math with the right resources. We welcome your application to be a part of a team of dedicated tutors and specialists to help students advance on their math journey!
There are 4 virtual tutoring positions available. We are looking for tutors who are driven and have a passion to serve and help students succeed. We are looking for tutors who are meets the following:

A minimum of 10 hours per week is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 year virtual tutoring experience.

Available Monday - Friday 3:00PM EST - 8:00PM EST and or Saturdays 9:00am EST - 5:00PM EST.

Local background required.

Strong mathematics background required.

Rate: $22 - $27 per hour based on experience.
Responsibilities
Tutors will meet with each student twice per week for one hour. Tutors will be responsible for submitting session recaps after each session to tutor admin. Tutor may occasionally need to develop and present content tailored to the needs of their students.
Qualifications
1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
2. Bachelor of Science in Mathematics or related area.
3. Two years of experience in online tutoring preferred.
4. Proficiency in one or more of the following math areas is preferred: 4th and 5th grade (elementary school), 6th grade to 8th grade (middle school), 9th grade to 12th grade (high school).
Application Process

2. Complete 5-7 minutes interview with a 2 minutes demo of your tutoring style on a topic covered in 4th - 12th grade math.
3. Tutor Training and Onboarding facilitated by Sharpe Sessions.
